ROMAN COLONIAL COINS
They call these "Greek Imperial" for some reason, I guess because a lot of them have legends in Greek, though many don't.  But Roman colonial, or even more accurately, "non-metropolitan Roman" is what they are.  The traditional cataloging of Greek coins is geographic from west to east, around the Mediterranean then westward through Africa, finally back east toward India.  For the "Greek Imperials" it is by emperor, then geographic.  The assumption of that system is that you had a classical education, which of course you haven't.  Seems to me that any other organizational system is just as screwy.  I have chosen to go "Greek": geographic, then the emperor.  Ornery.
