BHUTAN
I think this country has a constitution of sorts, so the king, who is technically divine, has some theoretical limitations on his power.  They don't do economic indicators there.  Instead they have a "gross national happiness" metric.  Their health care is primitive.  These things are pretty complicated.  Perhaps they are modelling a truly post-industrial lifestyle for the rest of us, assuming we survive the collapse, if there is to be one.
The problem seems to be an inability to shut off the aggression switch in our brains.  You'd think there would be a medication for it, wouldn't you?
But then again, reports came in late 2008 that they were treating Nepalese refugees badly.  Everything is complicated.
