INDIA, "gadhaya paisas"
These are a coherent series of what is now western India and southeastern Pakistan, with modern Bombay as an intellectual hook for us moderns.  These circulated there in the 11-13th centuries.  The type is based on the Sasanian drachm, much evolved, with a bust facing right on one side, and a fire altar on the other.
