POST-TIMURID DYNASTIES
Timur-i-lang (Timur the Lame, "Tamerlane"), 1370-1405, was the last of the great Asian conquerors, assembling an empire that stretched from Syria to India.  His successors rapidly lost most of it, leaving a rump state in Afghanistan.  In the wake of the Timurid decline numerous smaller dynasties sprang up in central Asia.

Successors to the Shaybanids in Uzbekistan until replaced by the Mangits, whose coins are found in the Krause catalog under "Bokhara."  Janid coins are not well cataloged, most of the research is in Russian.  With a few exceptions they are rare.  This should be in the KM catalog, but its not.
