Actually, the coin is quite
base, lets call it billon, and the combination of crummy metal, poor striking,
and some meddling with the surface that one could charitably call "smoothing"
make this only technically "fine." But its still rare, still expensive,
and we all know of coins much worse than this gratefully purchased for
far more.
