RUSSIAN TOKENS
Some countries seem to like tokens, others not so much.  Germany - they love/loved them.  England, USA, loved them - tens of thousands of types.  Russia, not so much.  Except for the spate of telephone and transit tokens (maybe 1000 types) issued by localities during the late 1980s-90s there have not been a lot of token issues in the Russian "zone."  Most of those that were made are rather scarce.

RUSSIA, USSR, Ministry of Trade, 20mm brass, "4."  I've heard different stories about this series.  The most common explanation is that they were used in vending machines in the actual building, 1950s-60s.  VF 11.00
