GREECE
    In the context of antiquity "Greece" includes parts of Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Albania, etc.  Greeks lived and governed in all of those places, planting their culture and leaving their cultural artifacts.  Those artifacts are not, as a whole, terribly uncommon.  Over 1000 years of culture over a wide area, but there was and is much more Roman stuff.
