PKR52a) GREEK, c. 300-100 BC, gold ring with garnet intaglio, ring is hollow formed, simple ridged triangular cross section, narrow at back, expanded at front, 25mm o.d., 19mm i.d. (USA size 9-9.5), garnet is 6x10mm, portrait is of a turbaned, cleanshaven fellow facing R, style is more Persian than Greek, but found in the Greek ruins near Gunyar, NWFP, stone is cracked at the guy's shoulder, couple of light dents in the ring, overall "excellent" $950.00 sold
