This page is all non-banknote paper items.
There are sure to be errors of all kinds in this list which
is in the "old" format. The old format was all done by hand and
evolved over 40 years. There is a "new" format inventory, into which
everything is being put, which does not have those errors. We're most of the way
through the updating process. Please forgive and put up with. Thanks for your
patience.
terms: All subject prior sale. If you see same item with 2 different prices always take the cheaper. If you think price is ridiculous make offer. You pay shipping costs. This is a messed up inventory containing things that oviously are not documents, more than a few are probably sold, we'll find out when you order.

231113 9437 POLAND, GERMAN OCCUPATION, identity card, no
date (194_), a card document, folded to make 4 pages, bilingual German and
Polish, there is a somewhat faded, slightly sepia photo of a young girl in a
coat, pasted on page 2, a slightly smeared purple inkstamp covers about a
quarter of the picture, touches the girl's chin, but her face is all there.
There's a second inkstamp, same as the first, clear, that reads: "Gemeinde
- Gmina Zamosc Suchowola in / w Potoczku," but the document is not filled
out. It's XF. So, I find myself thinking that the picture of the girl could be
construed as, in a sense, "touching," in, you know, an artistic
criticism mode, and why hasn't it been filled out? They did occasionally fake
WWII memorabilia in past decades. Anyway, while I'm not explicitly condemning
this piece as a forgery, I am selling it as an art object, not as an authentic
piece of history. I think I'm going into some part of the art market. Maybe
I'll be selling more. It's a different category. There is a different return
policy. You can only return for damaged in transit. You can ask for a picture.
Thanks for your patience. 221x150mm, small nick at the fold, XF $200.00
